DAVID FORLINE - Producer Bio:
David Forline grew up in a gang-infested neighborhood in South-East Los Angeles. From a very early age he studied Martial Arts, obtaining Black Belt rank and Mastery in four styles. Out of respect for his parents, David stayed clear of the gang life until it became inescapable. It was at this time he became known as "Reaper". At 15 he passed the GED and quit High School and joined up with his neighborhood gang. He rose quickly through the ranks of his gang to be the youngest leader ever, before his 19th birthday.
David is also a versatile accomplished musician. He was the lead guitarist and band leader of the popular punk band "The Revolt." He wrote and recorded many of the bands hits and the band played many sold out shows from the Sunset Strip and throughout the Hollywood area.
His music brought him close to Jenapher Moguel, who became his wife and the mother of their 3 young sons. The birth of his first son brought a big change. Because of his honor, drive, dedication, and strong family values, David searched and found his passion in creating art with metal. He served an apprenticeship to become a Blacksmith. He quickly took to the "art" and is recognized as the best sword-smith around today. He later learned he has ancestors on both sides of his family that worked in the trade.
Dave's sense of community and desire to help others has him now sharing his success, providing work and a trade not only for many of his old neighborhood buddies but also some of the local homeless guys. His story is one of beating the odds and rising up from the ashes, BUT never forgetting where he came from.
With his talent and skills, he has done historical reconstructions, worked as a blacksmith, a weapon designer, and/or a prop designer on the following:
7eventy 5ive (2007), The Garden (2006), The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005)), "Threshold" (2005) TV series, "Charmed" 2004, Hellboy (2004), The Alamo (2004), Disney's The Haunted Mansion (2003), The Last Samurai (2003), Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (2003), The Rundown (2003), Secondhand Lions (2003), Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003) and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (2001).
Although he has worked on some of the biggest budget Hollywood mega-hits, David's dream was to produce independent films. Dark Reel marks David's debut as a Producer.

JOSH EISENSTADT - Director
A native Los Angeleno, Josh Eisenstadt is a UCLA graduate. While maintaining high grades in his university studies, he began work on a screenplay and raising start-up capital. The result was his first feature film, the no-budget video production, SPECTER'S ROCK. Two years later Josh expanded what had originally been planned as a short into a second no-budget feature titled RED LIGHTING. Josh looks at these two experiments as film school.
In addition to screenwriting and directing, Josh has learned first hand every aspect of filmmaking from lighting, color correction, editing and sound design. His talents were an integral part of DVD extras for both Season One and the upcoming Season Two of the DAVID LYNCH groundbreaking television series, Twin Peaks as well as the DVD extras on the prequel film Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me.
By 2005, Josh was eager to shoot on 35mm film. He had written a screenplay for a psychological thriller -- UNTITLED DESERT PROJECT -- and set out to film the opening scene to serve as an integral part of his fund-raising package. With the help and encouragement of ASC cinematographer RON GARCIA (Numbers, Twin Peaks), he put together a cast and crew for a seven-minute short film - the opening scene --entitled INNER BALANCE. The film stars DANA ASHBROOK (Twin Peaks, Deadwood, Dawson's Creek) and DAVID SCHROEDER (Mulholland Drive, Simon & Simon, Falconcrest) and was shot on a sound stage in Los Angeles in the fall of 2005. ERIC STEELBERG (DP - 2006 Sundance Grand Jury Winner "Quinceañera") was the cinematographer. Josh is currently in development on this feature. He plans to film next year on location in either New Mexico or Arizona.
While working on INNER BALANCE, an opportunity arose to put together a horror film. Josh met AARON POPE, a screenwriter with a host of produced films under his belt including Raven (2006), Taphephobia (2006), The Boston Strangler (2006), Rampage: The Hillside Strangler Murders (2006), Air Marshal (2003) Speck (2002) And Vampire Clan (2002). The two of them meshed instantly and two months later, the script for DARK REEL was complete.
In July 2006, Josh met producer, DAVID FORLINE. By late August they had financial backing for their joint venture with pre-production in full swing by late summer of 2006. DARK REEL, was shot in Los Angeles in the fall of 2006. Less than a year later, in October of 2007, the movie was complete.

Versatile actor Lance Henriksen has successfully starred in a wide variety of films and television projects, which exemplify the diversity of his talent, working with some of the most prominent directors in the motion picture industry, including Steven Spielberg, James Cameron, Sidney Lumet, and Sam Raimi, to name a few.
Henriksen has just completed principal photography on the New Line feature film APPALOOSA, starring opposite Rene Zellweger, Ed Harris (who directed as well), Viggo Mortensen, and Jeremy Irons.
Born in New York, Henriksen studied at the Actors Studio and began his career Off Broadway in Eugene O'Neill's "Three Plays of the Sea." One of his first film appearances was for director Sidney Lumet in DOG DAY AFTERNOON, followed by Lumet's NETWORK and PRINCE OF THE CITY. Henriksen then appeared in Steven Spielberg's CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND with Richard Dreyfuss and Francois Truffaut, DAMIEN: OMEN II and director Philip Kaufman's THE RIGHT STUFF, in which Henriksen portrayed Mercury astronaut 'Lieutenant Commander Walter Schirra, Jr.'
James Cameron cast Henriksen in his first directorial effort, PIRANHA PART TWO: THE SPAWNING followed by THE TERMINATOR, and he next featured him as android 'Bishop' in the sci-fi classic, ALIENS. Director Sam Raimi, who cast the actor in THE QUICK AND THE DEAD opposite Russell Crowe, Sharon Stone and Gene Hackman, says, "Lance is a brilliant performer who goes way beyond acting. He becomes his character completely, leaving no trace of his former self and making something of every moment on screen."
Henriksen's additional feature credits include Kathryn Bigelow's cult vampire film NEAR DARK, JAGGED EDGE, PUMPKINHEAD, THE HORROR SHOW, SURVIVAL QUEST, director Walter Hill's JOHNNY HANDSOME, THE PIT AND THE PENDULUM, writer/director Bruce Robinson's JENNIFER EIGHT, ALIEN 3, director Richard Rush's COLOR OF NIGHT, POWDER, writer/director Jim Jarmusch's DEAD MAN, Disney's animated feature "TARZAN" and director John Woo's first American film, HARD TARGET, for which Henriksen received a Saturn Award as Best Supporting Actor.
He was also seen in Twentieth Century Fox's release, AVP: ALIEN VERSUS PREDATOR. In "AVP," Henriksen portrayed 'Charles Bishop Weyland,' a zealous billionaire industrialist who finances an expedition hoping to locate an ancient pyramid buried in the ice of the Antarctic. "AVP" was directed by Paul W.S. Anderson and produced by John Davis.
Henriksen starred for three seasons (1996-1999) on "MILLENNIUM," Fox-TV's critically acclaimed series created by Chris Carter ("The X-Files"). Henriksen's performance as 'Frank Black,' a retired FBI agent who has the ability to get inside the minds of killers, garnered three consecutive Golden Globe nominations for "Best Performance by a Lead Actor in a Drama Series" and a People's Choice Award nomination for "Favorite New TV Male Star." FOX Home Entertainment has released Season 1 and 2 of "Millennium" on DVD.
